REFER A FRIEND PROGRAM

The following describes the Terms and Conditions, "Kiwi," "we," "us," and "our" refer collectively to Kiwi Financial Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries, including Kiwi Financial Inc., also known as "Kiwi Credit" and "Kiwi." This Referral Program may be administered by Kiwi Financial Group, Inc. or any of its licensed subsidiaries depending on the state in which the Eligible Loan Referrer and Eligible Loan Beneficiary reside and where the applicable loan is originated. If you wish to participate in any Referral Program described below, you agree to the terms of the Referral Program described in Part I below, as well as the General Terms and Conditions in Part II, which apply to the Referral Program.

Please note that:

  • Friends or family members you wish to refer must use the referral link specific to your product to register and apply for a Kiwi Personal Loan. Only one referral reward per new customer. You won't receive multiple rewards for the same friend or family who obtains multiple loans or products.
  • Additional terms and conditions apply.
  • Each person referred must be someone with whom you have a direct, personal relationship. You may not distribute a referral link or solicit anyone through mass email, commercial advertising, or other similar means.
  • Kiwi reserves the right to review, investigate, and disqualify any individual from participating in the Referral Program at any time, and reserves the right to decline any referral that, in our sole discretion, has been solicited in a manner inconsistent with the spirit or terms of the Program.

Anyone referred for a Kiwi loan must not have an existing registered Kiwi account. To protect the privacy of those you refer, account information or eligibility of referred prospects cannot, under any circumstances, be shared with the referrers.

A successful referral is defined as: they are new to Kiwi, use their personal and unique referral link to create an account in the Kiwi app and register at www.kiwicredito.com, or in the respective app stores, for the first time and within 24 hours of clicking on their link. Referred individuals must complete the loan application, open an eligible Kiwi loan account, and receive full loan proceeds disbursement within 90 days of registration for the referral bonus to be posted. Eligible accounts include a Kiwi Personal Loan only. No payments will be made for opening any other type of Kiwi account.

The only accounts eligible to generate a referral reward are those corresponding to a Kiwi Personal Loan originated directly through the Kiwi mobile application or website at www.kiwicredito.com. No referral reward will be paid for Kiwi Pay loans, which are personal loans originated through third-party merchant partners as part of Kiwi's point-of-sale lending program. The referral reward applies exclusively to personal loans applied for and originated directly by the consumer through Kiwi's own digital platform. Additionally, no reward will be paid for the opening or use of any other Kiwi product or account, including Credit Builder or Credit Monitoring.

Referral Program — Part I

Loan Referral Program

The terms below and those set forth in Part II govern your participation in the Kiwi Financial Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries, including Kiwi Financial Inc., ("Kiwi") Loan Referral Program (the "Referral Program"). The Loan Referral Program is open to any consumer who registers on the website or the mobile application and who resides in United States where Kiwi Financial Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries, including Kiwi Financial Inc. is licensed and offers its services (the “Eligible Loan Referrers”).

Eligible Loan Referrers may refer friends, colleagues, family members, or other persons whom they consider to be interested in applying for a personal loan (the “Eligible Loan Beneficiaries”). Kiwi reserves the right to disqualify any person from participating in the Program at any time. Referrers will NOT receive a bonus for products other than personal loans.

To receive credit for a referral:

  1. The Referrer must send their unique referral link to the Eligible Loan Recipient.
  2. The Beneficiary must register and complete process within 90 days of receiving the link.
  3. The Beneficiary must comply with all terms and conditions of the campaign associated with that link and obtain an approved and disbursed personal loan.

If all conditions are met:

  • The Eligible Loan Referrer will receive $50 for each effective referral.
  • If you have an active loan with Kiwi, the amount will be credited to your outstanding balance.
  • Clients without an active loan or with previously disbursed loans: the payment will be made by bank transfer.
  • Individuals who have only created an account, applied without obtaining approval, or have been rejected, but whose referral does qualify as successful: the $50 amount will be credited to Rewards.

Only one $50 bonus will be awarded for each referred beneficiary, even if they obtain multiple loans. The bonus will not be paid if the referred beneficiary already had a Kiwi loan account, did not use the correct link, or does not reside in the jurisdictions where we operate.

General Terms and Conditions of the Referral Program — Part II

Referral Limit

Kiwi reserves the right to limit the number of times a link may be used. Kiwi reserves the right to limit the number of times a referral link may be used. Referral links may not be used in any manner that is misleading, fraudulent, or abusive. This includes, but is not limited to, creating multiple or fake accounts, self-referrals, use of bots or automated systems, bulk distribution of referral links in violation of applicable law, or any activity intended to game or manipulate the program. Kiwi may, in its sole discretion, disqualify referrals or revoke rewards if it determines that abuse or fraud has occurred. Any fraudulent or abusive activity may also result in suspension or termination of participation in the program.

Participants must comply with all applicable laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and any similar state or federal regulations governing electronic communications and marketing. Kiwi reserves the right to disqualify any referral or revoke rewards if it determines that prohibited activity has occurred.

Payment methods

  • Active customers: $50 credit on your loan.
  • Inactive customers (with previously disbursed loans): payment by bank transfer of $50.
  • Payments are scheduled depending on when the referral was completed.
  • Eligible customers will be notified by email.

Non-Solicitation Agreement

Participant agrees not to receive additional compensation for referrals outside of the scope of this agreement and not to engage in activities that involve assisting in completing applications or discussing specific product terms.

Privacy

Kiwi will not share the personal account details, financial information, or loan decision outcomes of the referred person with the referrer. Referral status will only be communicated in terms of whether a referral reward has been earned and credited. All customer information is handled in accordance with Kiwi’s Privacy Policy, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (Regulation P), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and other applicable privacy and consumer protection laws.

Zero "Spam"

Any promotional method that violates anti-spam laws, pretends to be affiliated with Kiwi, or violates established policies is prohibited.

Taxable Income

Referral rewards issued under this Program may constitute taxable income. Participants are solely responsible for reporting any referral rewards received to the applicable tax authorities. If a participant accumulates $600 or more in referral rewards within a calendar year (January 1 through December 31), Kiwi Financial Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries, including Kiwi Financial Inc., may issue the applicable tax form and report the payments to the relevant tax authority as required by law, IRS Form 1099-NEC for U.S. residents, or Form 480 issued to the Departamento de Hacienda de Puerto Rico for Puerto Rico residents. Required tax forms will be delivered electronically to the email address or account portal on file, and by participating in this Program, participants consent to such electronic delivery. Participants who wish to withdraw their consent to electronic delivery or request a paper copy may do so by contacting us at [INSERT contact information]. Unclaimed payments that remain outstanding for more than 180 days are subject to cancellation.

Participants who have also received settlement payments from Kiwi within the same calendar year may receive more than one tax form. In such cases, a Form 1099-MISC may be issued for settlement-related payments in addition to a Form 1099-NEC for rewards or incentive-based payments. Puerto Rico residents may receive the applicable Form 480 variants in lieu of or in addition to federal forms. Each form reflects a distinct category of reportable income and should be reported to the applicable tax authority accordingly.

Conflicts

In the event of a conflict between these terms and a specific campaign, these terms shall prevail.

Discontinuation of the Previous Referral Program

These terms supersede previous versions. Kiwi reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time. However, any previously earned, qualifying referral rewards will still be honored in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
